Principal Markworth's February Letter

Woodruff Principal Newsletter

February 2017

It is hard to believe that the school is half way over.  This has been such an enjoyable year for me and I appreciate all the hard work that our students, teachers, and community members have put in so far.

February 15-16 is our next SEP Conferences at the school.  These are designed to have all of our families meet personally with our teachers and go over your student’s progress from our October Conferences.

Along with meeting with the teachers we also provide educational opportunities as well:

This literacy night we are having a book trade at Camp Read-A-Lot! From Monday, February 6 through Friday, February 10 bring any gently used (K-5 levels) books and drop them in the Book Boxes in the halls or office. Then come to Camp Read-A-Lot during Parent Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, February 15 from 4-8 or Thursday, February 16 from 4-7 and get yourself a new book from one of your fellow Woodruff Wildcats!

We also offer the Book Fair in the Little Theater on both nights of our conferences.  So come find out how your student is progressing, buy a book, and trade for a book.  See you on February 15-16.
