Review and approval of minutes from February

Expenditure/Budget Update

  • The district is going to offer four days in the summer for teachers to work as teams to plan for the upcoming year.
  • We discussed ways to spend our extra money along with the possible money we had budgeted for th two plannin summer days for our teachers.
  • A few thoughts were to give a small stipend to the leadership team and /or STEM team, we also discussed the need to technology.
  • With class sizes changing for next year we might need to consider where technology will be short.
  • We will continue with this discussion next month.

Student improvement plan for 2019-2020 School Year

  • Goal #1: By the end of the 2019-2020 school year, 80% of Woodruff students will reach the grade level benchmark and/or 85% of studets will make typical growth in reading.
  • Trustland Expeditures:$66,500
  • Goal #2: Given the Math essentials for each grade level, 80% of Woodruff Students will demonstrate mastery.
  • Trustland Expenitures:$32,500

  • Estimated Trustland Expenditures: $95,340
    • Estimated Carry-over from 2018-2019:$4,292
    • Summary of Estimated Expenditures for 2019-2020:$99,000

Vote to approve student involvement Policy:

  • Stacie proposed to approve the Student Improvement Plan for 2019-2020, including expenditures of Trustland Funds.

    Reunification

    • Our Reunification Plan needs to be turned into Dave Long.
    • There were questions of wher the plan should be posted, and what the plan should include.
    • Matt is looking into it.
    • We talked about checking emergency crates and seeing if they have supplies that are needed in them.
    • It was suggested to possibly find a scout interested in doing it for a scout project.

    Public Input

    • Tara Wiser, on the crossing guards, asked if we could please remind student to use the crosswalks.
