The month of November includes a Veteran’s Day Assembly, AR Reward at USU, STEM Challenges, and a Family Literacy Night
Please join us for our Veteran’s Day Assembly Friday, November 10th at 9:00 am in our Cafetorium.

We invite our students to invite family members who have served or are currently serving in the military or armed services.

We will celebrate this special day with a patriotic program put on by our Hero Squad made up of our 4th and 5th Grade Students.

Please contact the main office to let us know who you have invited so we can honor them that day.

Family Literacy Night November 17th

Come join us for a Woodruff Elementary First…an evening family literacy night. We hope you enjoy this new tradition. We will be holding our first Literacy Night Friday November 17th at 6:00 pm. Our theme is Be a Hero: Read!! We will provide dinner and activities to help your family improve their reading at home. Every student will take home a book. We are excited to have all of you attend and see you there!! Keep reading every day.





PTA Activities in November

Thank you for supporting our PTA Fall Carnival on Friday, October 27th. We had an amazing turnout and the PTA raised enough money to continue the programs that benefit our students and teachers like the Valentine’s Manners Tea, Red Ribbon Week, Wildcat Run, Classroom Parties and so much more.


It is time to order more Woodruff Elementary Spirit Wear. Please have your orders in to the main office by Friday, November 17th and remember to wear Woodruff Spirit Wear every Friday!! T-Shirts are $5.00, Baseball Shirts are $10.00 and Fleece Jackets are $20.00.


Coffee & Cocoa with the Principal:
This year join Mr. Markworth every 3rd Wednesday from 8:00-8:30 to discuss school issues and have a cup of coffee and/or hot cocoa.

There is a Boundary Meeting Thursday, November 16th in the Little Theater. Please come give your input.






Community STEM Activities for Families


Woodruff Elementary is a STEM Designated School
There are STEM activities for your family to participate in the community:
  1. After School Activity Program (ASAP) every Thursday at the Logan Library starting at 3:30 pm.
  2. My Discovery Destination is a local organization that promotes STEM Activities. For more information on the activities in Cache Valley go to: https://mydiscoverydestination.com
